“I started Visual Remedies after painting a landscape of a field of daffodils to bring peace to a loved one who was facing the end of her life. Since then I have created several paintings and nature mandalas as a way to honor the lives they’ve lost, and provide aid for those in need of healing, or need closure. I believe that creative energy is healing energy. Art can help us connect to our hearts and our spirit. With nature as my inspiration, my intention is to help people discover their own strength and healing capabilities within themselves. Visual Remedies paintings help those in need of guidance during times of grief and loss. Amalia uses the imagery of nature to remind us how death is natural and beautiful. With great thought and consideration, Amalia will design a painting that represents your journey and honors your experience.
As an artist Amalia uses symbolism in her artwork, including elements from nature to represent a person’s life story. Her paintings welcome death and loss with warmth, love, acceptance and understanding.

NATURE MANDALAS
Like a flower, we will one day return to the Earth in blissful harmony.
Nature Mandalas are a beautiful way to honor the memory of the people, pets, and trees we have lost.
Using natural materials Amalia will sculpt a custom-made Nature Mandala out of rocks, flowers, pinecones, and shells. She will photograph the nature art and email you a digital file print in the mail.

PANACEA POUCHES
Medicine Bags have been used for many generations, in many cultures around the world. Pouches are made to hold sacred items and are worn for a variety of reasons, including healing and protection. Amalia believes that every person would enjoy and benefit from having a special pouch to call their own.
Amalia will design and hand sew a custom-made pouch just for you! A one-of-a-kind! She will use materials such as beads, embroidery thread, and recycled fabric to decorate your pouch.
Keep what’s important to you close to your heart: crystals, stones, figurines, herbs, flowers, notes, medicine- Whatever you put inside your pouch is up to you!
